Found cat

A reader writes:  "I'm emailing in hopes that you could make a post about this cat that was found today. He/She was incredibly sweet and allowed for us to pet/pick her up despite a possible lower lip injury.
We found the cat sitting in a window nook at Winthrop and Glenlake. I contacted Tree House who told me they would accept the cat but I would have to take it to their vet near Belmont and Milwaukee. After health evaluations and procedures the cat will then go back to Tree House.

The cat is a tabby with greyish brown fur, more slanted green eyes, not declawed, soft coat, and a good weight.
This cat is clearly loved and I hope to find the owner."

This looks similar to a cat called "Buster" that has a missing sign up. I wish I had the details, but I passed it while jogging yesterday on the lake shore trail, right at Foster. Maybe somebody else has seen this sign too? Needless to say, I hope you find this kitty's owners!!

We posted about Buster a few days ago, and this is not the same cat. The person who found this cat had Buster's owner come see it, and it was not a match unfortunately.

Busted lower lip means that he probably fell out of a window... at least that's what happened to our little guy. Luckily it was his only injury.
