Food critic Steve Dolinski from ABC7 and the "Hungry Hound" wrote an article listing his top five best places to eat in Andersonville on his blog. In order, they were Hopleaf, Great Lake, A Taste of Heaven, Middle East Bakery & Grocery and Sunshine Restaurant (correct name is Sunshine Cafe).
Considering all the wonderful dining options in the neighborhood, we're curious what you think about this list. Read it yourself here. Do you agree? Disagree? Who was obviously left off? Let us know in the comments!

Thought i wasn't a fan of Charlie's before I think Acre has done a good job of bringing more elevated interesting plates to the area. Also one of the places other than Hopleaf offering local craft brews.
I would have to agree with this list though. Sunshine Cafe is still one of the best places I've eaten in the area, not only for the food but I love feeling like your in someones dining room enjoying a home cooked meal.
My top 5 would be:
1) Tanoshii (Best sushi in town!)
2) Cosina Grill (Great BYOB Mexican spot.)
3) Anteprima (Authentic, delicious & love the small plate options.)
4) M. Henry (Amazing breakfast, if you don't mind the wait.)
5) Jin Ju (Scallion pancakes....Mmmmm!)
1. Anteprima
2. Anteprima
3. Big Jones
4. Sunshine
5. Great Lakes
A good list, but I agree that M. Henry would be an excellent addition.
I know it's not in Andersonville, but Ceres Table is amazing.
yeah, I was surprised at the absence of M. Henry and Big Jones. maybe he doesn't know the boundries of andersonville?
