2 Police Officers Hurt in Transport Wagon Crash with Car
Chicago - A Chicago Police vehicle struck a car Sunday night in the North Side Edgewater neighborhood.
At 10:55 p.m., a Chicago Police prisoner transport wagon struck an automobile in the 1500 block of West Foster Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
The two officers in the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital for observation, Gaines said. The driver of the automobile was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, also with non-life-threatening injuries.
It was not immediately known what caused the crash or if any citations were issued.
