According to this Crain's Chicago article, the 60640 zip code, which is composed of parts of Andersonville, Edgewater and Uptown, saw the greatest uptick in single family home prices of all zip codes in Chicago during the 10 year period from 2000 to 2010. Prices rose 39.3% according to Fiserv, a financial services firm that calculates the widely followed Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices. Realize that this study is only related to single family homes, and not condiminiums.
