5:57pm, 1020 W Lawrence - Disturbance in building. Caller waiting in lobby, may not have pants on.
6:00pm, 6344 N Lakewood - Suspicious persons. Man covering his face with a mask.
6:01pm, 7126-7128 N Clark - Teens on the roof of a building shooting at cars with a slingshot. Building is across the street from an auto body shop.
6:02pm, 6505 N Belle - 3 male hispanic teens jumping on the roof of a car damaging the vehicle. One male is wearing a white shirt and last name is Rodriguez. Complaintant did not want to leave their name.
6:07pm, Foster Avenue Beach - premise check.

6:09pm, Update from earlier incident. Found a highly intoxicated elderly man. Think it might be the missing person from the nursing home.
6:09pm, 5200-5600 N Clark - Foot patrol needed.
6:13pm, 5201 N Clark Street - Disturbance in apartment. One neighbor is calling on another neighbor.
6:16pm, 2700 Catalpa - Disturbance, large group of kids on a corner.

Uptown Anti-Crime Rally Next Saturday!
I'm sure many of you are familiar with the rally scheduled for Saturday June 7th at 10AM, but the Edgewater Crime Blotter would also like to show support for this event. While our communities still have much ground to cover, the positive changes in Uptown are truly amazing. Witnessing all of the restoration and revitalization near Lawrence and Broadway and in other areas is very encouraging. If you're able, come out to the Uptown Anti-Crime Rally to help get the message across that crime and violence will not be tolerated in our diverse and historic communities. Viva La Rally!

7:09, Sheridan and Foster - Caller reports that a man he has had trouble with before just tried to start a fight with him, and put his hand into his pocket as if he were going to pull a gun.
7:21, 5347 N. Ravenswood - Loud music disturbance. This is the second call recorded for this location this week. On Tuesday 5/27 I logged "8:42, 5347 N. Ravenswood Ave. - Battery in progress, people reportedly fighting in an apartment. Caller refuses to identify who they are." Either these people have really sensitive neighbors or they've got repeat issues with local law enforcement. We'll see if anything develops....
