Did you know that C&D Farms, a vendor at the Andersonville farmer's market in the summer, sells their meats and eggs in the winter as well? According to ChowHound, every Thursday C&D is stationed in a white van on on Ashland at Berwyn in front of the Church selling their goods from 4PM - 7PM.

Hopefully their prices are appropriate for the current economic conditions. The green leaf lettuce they had for sale was double the price of that at Edgewater Produce right down the street. Would like to be supportive but makes absolutely no sense to me anyway.
I had no idea! Thanks for this info. I buy their eggs during the summer months when the farmers market is open, and am glad to know they're available in the winter as well.
