Our alley was tagged the evening of 12/30/2010 - about 8 garages and fences in the alley between Rosedale and Ardmore, running east to west from Magnolia to Glenwood. Opinions vary from "gang-related" (police) to "not gang-related" (ex-taggers). Some have already been cleaned off.
Apparently, Victor (heart)s Shortie, AKA Karina. We do live right down the street from Senn, but this is not a normal happening. Most have been reported to the police.

I saw the graffiti Buster truck racing down Broadway on Monday. They have there job cut out for them IF we all call 311 when we see graffiti. Does anyone know what the deal is with the "painting" on a boarded up wall/window on Granville? It's this gray swivel mural..rather ugly but better than the plain brown that was there. Whoever painted that slopped paint all over the sidewalk as well.
Let 'em step into the city of Detroit and deface another's personal property like that. This doesn't happen there (and for good reason).

Yes - mainly because once you leave the "Downtown" (and I use that term "loosely") area, it's hard to find a structure to deface...
