A man who was left critically wounded from a stabbing Saturday has died.
Henry Jones, 37, of the 1100 block of West Hollywood Avenue in the Edgewater Beach neighborhood, was stabbed in the neck and pronounced dead at 4:50 a.m. Saturday at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. His death was ruled a homicide.
The stabbing happened about 3:30 a.m., according to police News Affairs.
Police were talking to a person of interest Saturday but the person was released with no charges this morning, said police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.
Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
UPDATE: The Chicago News Report is reporting that the man was killed by his wife.

I think that was very mess up what happen to HENRY JONES and more should be done about this case for her to be let go is just wrong with no charges it is what it is she murdered him and something need to be done about it did she once think about his family his kids that they have together more need to be done its just not rite to let this case go if this was a cop this case would have been a world wide case open for years untill they have found the person that did it and in this case they have the person and evidence why WOULD THEY DROP THIS CASE ANSWER ME THAT I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THIS SHOULD BE KNOWN AROUND THE WORLD JUST AS ANY OTHER MURDER CASE.
