This was not a domestic. This victim two doors from me. Definitely an attempt robbery. Last summer there were a number of robberies around the intersection of magnolia and rosemont. Please be vigilant!

We need to start positive loitering again. I wrote an email to the block club. Also, neighbors, please leave your front porch lights on if possible.

The assault was violent as our friend was stabbed three times. He is lucky he survived. I don't know if he is out of intensive care yet but I plan on visiting him tomorrow. So horrible and senseless.

I just moved back here (temporarily) after living for several years in NYC.
After coming back, I was walking one Saturday afternoon near the Bryn Mawr "L" station, and even through a few people told me it was better (with the exception of my bldg. manager who said it was still seedy), I went by there going to Walgreen's.
Walking from Sheridan Rd., which was fine, but as I got closer to the "L", I saw two guys fighting over a bottle near the liquor store by the "L", and one drunk or whatever, yelling and threating everyone walking by. He said f**t to me like everyone, I said F**k you with the finger (been in Brooklyn too long, probalby shouldn't have..oh well).
It is jut superising to me after all these years, it is stil lthe same. NYC has it's issues believe me, but at least peope are able to clean things up, it takes a fight with the local government sure, but how can things stay bad this long.

No, I am currently without a cell phone (stolen in Midtown somewhere...see the great city of NY isn't all roses), and I am not hunting for a payphone, sorry.
I also noticed the crowd this Saturday afternoon had their head hung down, and let these drunks-crackheads intimidate them.
Where were the store owners who's business obviously is being hurt by this?
I am not here to argue, I am passing through this city making an observation, and yes I would've called the cops or flagged down CPD normally you see a car around the station.

@R Be careful telling it like it is here. You'll be labeled "negative".
