Multiple readers have informed us that power was out last night on the northern side of the neighborhood around Granville and Thorndale as well as Rogers Park. Emergency personnel were called to buildings as people were stuck in elevators. Does anyone know if power has been restored?

Power outages in Edgewater
Multiple readers have informed us that power was out last night on the northern side of the neighborhood around Granville and Thorndale as well as Rogers Park. Emergency personnel were called to buildings as people were stuck in elevators. Does anyone know if power has been restored?

Yes, it's back on. Was out for about an hour or so. Transformer blew apparently.
