Middle Eastern Bakery & Grocery

A recent discovery of the Middle Eastern Bakery & Grocery (1512 W Foster) has made it an instant favorite of mine. This quant little independent store located on Foster between Clark and Ashland will fulfill all of your Middle Eastern grocery needs. While the store sells all types of goods from spices to nuts to beans and grains, the real score is the fresh homemade items. My personal favorites are the dips (hummus, babaganoush), the fresh baked breads and pita chips, and the meat pies. Ooooh the meat pies! Check them out on the web: http://www.middleeastbakeryandgrocery.com/ or better yet, in person!

Love this place: great value, great food, great service. They've been in the neighborhood for 27 years!

YES! This is the best place in the area for finding just about anything you need (or realize you "need" once you're there.) Plus, the people there are incredibly helpful and friendly. It is always fun. Glad you've discovered it.
