We've received word that a Pete's Pizza is coming soon to 1100 W Granville. Pete's has resided at 3737 N Western for many many years, and the Granvile store will be their second location in the City. In addition, a new frozen yogurt store named Lickity Splits will open soon at 6058 N Broadway. Just in time for the warm weather!

Coming soon!
We've received word that a Pete's Pizza is coming soon to 1100 W Granville. Pete's has resided at 3737 N Western for many many years, and the Granvile store will be their second location in the City. In addition, a new frozen yogurt store named Lickity Splits will open soon at 6058 N Broadway. Just in time for the warm weather!

Good to hear of some new business activities! Hope this is a trend (the Bananas Foster expansion will be a major part of this, too). Can we hope to see a good anchor tenant in the main part of the Clarovista retail space?
That's great!! I know a Red Mango is opening by Loyola..but besides that.. It's hard to find a yogurt place unless you go to lincoln park with no parking!

I spoke with the owner of Lickity Splits a couple days ago. He seems to think in a month or two, it will be open. I think there may be custard as well. It will be right on the corner of Broadway & Glenlake. Exciting to see the new businesses coming our way:)
Scott: the developer of the Clarovista is also a restaurant owner / developer. We'd like to see him develop something in that space that would accommodate the neighborhood residents and Loyola students.
Towanda: That's excellent news! Lickity Splits would be perfect at that location. High visibility (corner location), and a lot of Broadway car and pedestrian traffic. That business should do very well there.
Also, I think Burke's at Balmoral and Broadway is close to opening. I saw a Sysco truck there today delivering all kinds of food service supplies.
