Shots fired on Thorndale?

A reader writes:  I don't have any details, but there were clearly several gunshots fired last night near Thorndale and Kenmore around 3:30-4am. I didn't hear any secondary sounds: no glass breaking, cars driving, or voices. Just wondering if anyone has any details on this incident.

i heard the same thing!~! i knew it wasn't firecrackers....i heard a couple police sirens and that was it....i had to walk the dog..and did so around 430 and will admit was a bit nervous

We heard them. We are on the corner of Kenmore/Thorndale. Scared the living hell out of us. sounded like it was right outside our window.

Winthrop and Kenmore at Thorndale is an area that is just continuing to have problems. I live right over on Sheridan and Thorndale, I didn't hear anything but I had my windows closed last night so they block out a lot of noise.
