(photo by Ross Forman, Windy City Times)

Check out this moving story about an Edgewater couple whose lives were changed drasticaly one evening last November when Todd Gagliano was struck by a car at Clark and Ridge on his walk home.  Gagliano suffered multiple injuries including a skull fracture, lacerations to the brain, bruised lungs and was in a coma for months but because of his courage and the support of friends and family, especially his partner Keith Ellis, Todd's condition is improving daily.  You have to read the full article for yourself.  Windy City Times:  Gay man on comeback trail after accident

what a great story. I'm glad hes on the road to recovery and things are going well to them.

This really touched me, I'm currently living in edgewater with my boyfriend, first time living with someone. As we are still at the beginning of what we already know will be a long relationship it is good to see a positive portrayal of a couple enduring what I imagine was a very difficult time.

thanks for sharing this! All my love goes out to the couple.
