A new day in Chicago.....

This morning Chicago will inaugurate a new mayor for the first time in 22 years, and the 48th Ward will have a new Alderman for the first time since 1989.  We welcome Rahm Emanuel and Harry Osterman to their new posts.  Each have very large shoes to fill, and tough jobs ahead of them.

Baldyhead looked like a bozo today. Rahm did well. Old baldy head is just a mamma's boy. He got no high ranking positions, just like when he was a state rep. I will vote for berstein next time.

Gee Harold, that's really giving a guy a chance. He's been in office 1/2 a day and you already decided to vote for someone else? When did you see him today? He was downtown taking the oath. Are you sure your not Redell writing under another pen name? He's the kind of lowlife that name-calls and he certainly has a variety of pen-names.

Osterman is having a town meeting on public safety tomorrow .... his second night in office. He kept the old phone number for the convenience of the constituents even though I think a fresh start deserves a fresh phone number. He has been appointed to the three key committees he wanted because they have implications for our community.
