A new store on the Andersonville strip is the culmination of a life-long love of music and vintage treasures, according to the store’s owner Paul Ruffino. The new space will provide another vintage option for shoppers on Clark Street.

Rattleback Records at 5405 N. Clark, opened their doors on November 1 with an official ribbon cutting ceremony including Alderman Harry Osterman and the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 2. Though focusing on vintage vinyl records, they will be offering many vintage goodies as well such as used CDs, cassettes and movies. They also will be selling vintage items to help stock your music lounge including vintage barware, books, posters and art prints.

The store promises to have a continually evolving stock for their customers. They also buy vintage items and will pay cash for used records, CDs, cassette tapes, and DVDs.

The store is open Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m – 7 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and will be closed on Mondays. You can find them online at Rattleback Records.
