Edgewater Glen Residents Hold Their 46th Annual Garden Walk This Weekend

Edgewater and Andersonville are all about beautiful urban gardens. Nobody knows this better than the residents of Edgewater Glen who have held an increasingly popular garden walk for the past 45 years.

The Edgewater Glen Association Board of Directors will be hosting the event this Sunday, July 14 from Noon – 5 p.m.  The tour will start at 1420 W. Glenlake (6100N) and allow attendees to leisurely stroll through the 1200 & 1300 blocks which will be showcasing the community’s gardening skills. Many of the gardens on display will feature ‘Poison-free’ florals that were grown with no herbicides or pesticides.

Admission is $5 per adult and includes a raffle ticket chance to win Gethsemane Garden Center Gift Certificates. Children are free. Plenty of street parking will be available.
