Corporate Boutique Chain Coming To Clark And Berwyn In Andersonville

francescas-1Andersonville has seen a lot of change over the past decade. With its rise in popularity, the area has seen many new corporate chains take root along the strip. The busy intersection of Clark St. and Berwyn Ave, has seen a few itself including Starbucks and Potbelly.

With the recent closing of the Byline Bank branch at 5301 N. Clark, that intersection will see yet another – Francesca’s. According to the women’s fashion chain retailer, they are planning on opening their doors this Spring.

Francesca’s opened their first store in Houston, Texas in 1999 and has since grown to over 600 stores in 48 states.

The company sells fashion apparel and accessories, mostly catering to 18- to 35-year old women. By allowing their managers to personalize the stores, they try to promote an independent and upscale boutique image. They also carry limited editions of select merchandise.

According to signage on the window, the company will be hiring people for the new location. Those interested are directed to www.francescas.com.
