Car Chase Leads To Shooting On Magnolia Ave, Several Parked Cars Damaged

crimeAn argument which started outside of the Edgewater area, led to a car chase the ended in a man being shot and several parked cars damaged.

The incident happened at 8:15 p.m. last Tuesday night, after a confrontation led to the suspect following the victim in his car. The two vehicles turned onto the 5600 block of Magnolia where the 22-year-old man was shot in the arm.

Both vehicles proceeded north on Magnolia, damaging several parked cars along the way.

According to the 48th Ward office, the victim was discovered by Police near Broadway and Thorndale after calling 911. He was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital.
