Area Dentist Opens His First Dental Studio On The Andersonville Strip

Working for other area dental offices for years, Dr. Kapil Kella DDS has decided to open his first dental practice which will be located in Andersonville.

Trying to capitalize on shortcomings he saw in some of the offices he has worked at in the past, Lakeshore Dental Studio at 5505 N. Clark will offer state-of-the-art technology and modern conveniences to help soothe his patients and ease any anxieties they may have.

“We plan to be a practice that serves the patients,” said Dr. Kella. “We want to give them the care they deserve. We plan to treat everyone like family and provide 5-star service.”

Dr. Kella said that patients will receive individualized treatment in a 1,750 sq, ft. office that provides modern technology including a 3D mouth scanner and digital x-ray equipment. The space was completed gutted to make way for the office and to accommodate future technology and care. People will also have options to make there visit more comfortable including televisions, blankets and a sound system throughout the space.

The practice will be able to provide services to people of all ages from general cleaning, crowns, implants and extractions to invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kella said that that are in network with most insurance plans and will offer special financing as well.

“I have been searching for a few years for the right neighborhood” Dr. Kella added. “The minute I stepped into the Andersonville community, everyone has been so welcoming.  It is a city neighborhood that really has an environment like a small town. And that is exactly what I wanted.”

The office will have their soft opening today and be in full operation by March 2 with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. A larger grand opening is being planned for the Spring.
