Blind Edgewater Student Wins Scholarship

Christian Alba, a resident Edgewater, is one step closer to obtaining his bachelor’s degree thanks to a $1,000 scholarship award from The Chicago Lighthouse.
Alba, who is legally blind, is one of 49 blind, visually impaired, or multi-disabled students from across the U.S. who were recently awarded Lighthouse scholarships for outstanding academic achievements.
