Repeat Robbery Suspect Hits Edgewater Bank Tuesday

A man who robbed an Edgewater bank on Tuesday afternoon is wanted for an additional bank robbery earlier this month according to Chicago Police.

The man entered the Chase bank at 1055 W. Bryn Mawr around 2:34 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and handed the teller a note which read that he had a gun. The employee gave the suspect the cash and he fled the scene. In addition, the FBI has announced that the suspect is also wanted in connection with another robbery on May 17 at the Chase Bank at 1924 S. State around 12:50 p.m.

According to authorities, the man has worn sunglasses and a black hoodie with the Nike logo in bold green and an orange lightning bolt on the front. He is about 6-feet-tall, in his 20s, and has a tattoo on his left wrist.

The FBI has announced that they are offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who provides information that leads to the man’s arrest. Any tips can be called into the FBI’s Chicago office at 312-421-6700.
