Earlier this month major news sources reported that a number of red light cameras would come down in the City, including the one at Hollywood and Sheridan.

That red light camera is more dangerous than any in the city. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen small accidents because someone slammed on their brakes. Between the camera and the street beggars, that is just an awful, unsafe intersection.

So what if a bunch of people in black masks just got a bunch of spray paint and climbed up the polls and blacked out the cameras and flashes in the middle of the night??

lets pay the street beggars to jump into traffic once the lights turn yellow
they already are in the street and the city is fine with them jaywalking and panhandling –
rham said we cant ticket the beggars they have no money – lets just keep the 1984 big brother cameras up – its for the children.

I disagree. I cross that street 4 times a day. Without those cameras I would be dead or crippled. People blow through those lights like crazy without cameras. Try crossing 4 lanes of traffic in the dark at 7:00 am. NOBODY stops. Those cameras are needed at this intersection. Sorry beggars are such an aftront to your tender sensibilities.
