New Bakery On Bryn Mawr Has A Passion For Bread

So what is the focus for the newest bakery in the area? It seems to be all about the dough. pHlour at 1138 W. Bryn Mawr in Edgewater, promises to bing you bread that is ‘wholesome, handcrafted, and rich in flavor.’

The pHlour bakery, which opened on April 17, focuses on the bread and then creates classic pastries and sandwiches. The business will also serve salads.

“With the key components of knowledge, passion and practice, pHflour’s retail and wholesale operation strive daily to produce some of the best baked goods in the city,” the pHlour bakery’s Facebook page proudly boasts. “New to the Edgewater neighborhood, but the family behind it all has deep roots in Chicago and take pride in high quality service to travelers and Chicagoans!”

The bakery is open daily from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
