Chicago’s Only Fest Featuring Local Artisans And Craft Beer Returns To Andersonville

cmf2016_facebook_post2-768x768Looking for some local fun this weekend? Look no further! The 4th Annual Andersonville City Made Fest returns again this weekend to celebrate all things local including an artisan vendor marketplace, craft beer, food, and music.

The event which is presented by the Andersonville Sustainable Community Alliance, will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18, 12 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Clark St., between Argyle and Carmen.

Expect many of your favorite local restaurants and breweries to participate such as Giordano’sQuang NoodleHalf Acre and Revolution. The artisan market will be made up of venders who sell goods that are sourced and made in Chicago including handmade jewelry from Alicia Mohr Jewelry, body oils from Aphrodite’s Oil Boutique and spices from Spice Heist.

The entertainment line-up is equally exciting with groups such as the ohyeahs, Gerald Dowd, Yoko and the Oh No’s and the Cell Phones. There will also be several unique performances by VAUDEZILLA! Burlesque Cabaret throughout the fest. View samples of the music HERE.

All proceeds from the fest will go in to support Eco-Andersonville, the a 501(c)3 non-profit initiative of the Andersonville Sustainable Community Alliance. ASCA has worked on many projects in the neighborhood including bike corrals, people spots, on-street recycling, neighborhood composting and solar energy solutions.
