Andy’s Thai Kitchen Closes Its Edgewater Location

A little over three years after opening their second location in Edgewater, Andy’s Thai Kitchen has unexpectedly closed the local restaurant for good.
The Thai restaurant, which opened at 6230 N. Broadway back in October of 2016, came to the neighborhood with much excitement. Chef Andy Aroonrasameraung has been serving up his unique take on the cuisine since 2012 when he opened his first Andy’s Thai Kitchen at 946 W Wellington Ave. in Lakeview.
The Edgewater location got great reviews from area residents as Aroonrasameraung cooked up unique dishes from the Chachoengsao area of Thailand. However, the business was never able to get a solid base in Edgewater.
If you were a fan of Andy’s Thai Kitchen in Edgewater, the Lakeview restaurant remains open for business.
