This Weekend’s 10th Annual Zombie Pub Crawl Will Introduce New Event For Children

Once again this year, zombies will invade the Andersonville strip in true horror fashion. So don’t be alarmed when you see ghoulish business men, cheerleaders, belly dancers and more who were all affected by the unfortunate zombie apocalypse.

The Zombie Pub Crawl (ZPC) is this Saturday, April 29th and tickets are $20 ($30 on the day of the event). The crawl starts at pH Comedy Theatre (1515 Berwyn) and participants will receive specials at all participating bars, a ZPC 10 t-shirt. a ZPC Official cup, and more.

Event organizers are expecting more than 1,000 zombies to be roaming the neighborhood.

This year will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the crawl which is a fundraiser for pH Productions, a recognized 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization in the State of Illinois. The pH Comedy Theater is known for their outlandish comedy shows which have been performing in the space since 2002.

The event will also include a new option for children. The Chicago Kid’s Zombie Adventure will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.  According to the pH Comedy Theatre, kids will begin their fun at the theater with a story that will lead them into their own adventure in the streets of Andersonville. Participants will find fun characters along the way, enjoy surprise treats and ultimately save the day.

Tickets for the kid’s event will be $30 for the entire family.
