Police Seek Help In Two Separate Reports Of Missing Edgewater Residents

Chicago Police put out two separate alerts seeking public help in finding two people who went missing from the Edgewater neighborhood recently.

A 42-year-old woman, Esmeralda Zela-Stuva, has been missing since August 25. She lives on the 5700 block of N. Sheridan and is described as 5-foot-2, 120 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and enjoys walking in park properties. She was last reported wearing a gray or blue short-sleeved shirt and dark-colored shorts.

**Update – Chicago police have announced on August 27 that Esmeralda Zela-Stuva was found safe.**

A separate alert was also put out for 50-year-old James Wilson of Edgewater who was last seen on the 6000 block of N. Kenmore on August 20. Wilson, who is 5-feet-9, could be experiencing psychological issues and be in need of medical attention.
