Notre Shop Closes Its Andersonville Location

notre2Opening their doors back in December of 2014, Notre brought Andersonville a selection of men’s high-end clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. Boasting brands from around the world, Notre’s mission is to harness an exclusive collection of hard-to-find lines, introduce them to its customers and ultimately entice shoppers across Chicago to visit the area and the store.

However, after just two years in the storefront at 5202 N Clark St, Notre has placed brown paper across its windows and posted on their website that the shop is temporarily closed.

Notre, which opened a second location in West Loop at 118 N Peoria one month ago, said that they are focusing on their new location. There was no comment on when the Andersonville location would reopen, or if it has shuttered its doors for good.

Notre is owned and operated by four business owners with more than 15 years of collective experience in the men’s fashion industry. Among the them is noted men’s fashion buyer, Michael Jaworowski, who previously worked as a buyer for Haberdash, a popular men’s clothing store also based in Chicago. The group’s interest in fine-crafted, upscale menswear and relationships with designers in the industry fueled the creation and mission behind the store.
