Andersonville’s Revive Spa To Expand Into Old Square Nail Storefront

Revive Massage Therapy and Spa at 4860 N. Clark St. in Andersonville has announced plans that they will expand into the storefront next door to the salon. The space was previously occupied by Square Nail which moved out earlier in the Summer to occupy a larger space at 2535 W. Armitage.

Since hearing about the expected departure of Square Nail, Revive owner Jim Jackowski has been contemplating the expansion. He contacted the building’s Landlord Dave Krug (who also owns the Guesthouse Hotel), when the space became available July 1. Since then, they worked out an agreement and construction on the new space commenced this week.

Since Revive opened four years ago, the business has seen a surge in skin care needs. Jackowski explained, “Our skin care services have grown by 40% over the past 1.5 years. Although female clients traditionally tend to have more skin care treatments,  we have seen a huge spike in our male clientele (general skin care, facials, body waxing/grooming services). We currently have ten treatment rooms at Revive, but only two are dedicated for Skin Care.”

The new space will allow Revive to add an additional five treatment rooms dedicated to skin care. According to Jackowski, this will help to accommodate more customers, enhance the service menu and expand their current retail line. Revive’s Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner will offer advanced services such as Botox, facial fillers, laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation.

Jackowski said, “Now our customers can have ‘one place to go’ for quality massage and skin care services.  Customers can choose from basic skin care services to more advanced treatments, whichever makes them more comfortable.”

They new space is expected to open by the end of the year.
