2 New Events This Weekend Bring Attention To The North End Of Clark In Edgewater

There has been increased attention towards the revitalization of the N. Clark Street corridor in Edgewater from Ridge to Devon. Now, two popular businesses along that strip will be holding first-time events this weekend to attract foot traffic to the area.

Raven Theatre at 6157 N. Clark will be holding their first Food Truck Festival on Saturday, August 10 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. rain or shine.  The trucks will take over their parking lot and will include great options including Yum Dum Truck, A.Sweets Girl and Raheem Prepares Chicken & Waffles. Both Helix Cafe and TK Photography will also be on hand for the festivities as well as live entertainment and theater tours.

Helix Cafe at 6237 N. Clark and Dystopian Cult Records are co-hosting  their first Artist Pop-Up sidewalk sale on Sunday, August 11 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Several vendors are participating at the event and will be showcasing goods including artwork, prints, comics, records and apparel.
