Edgewater ALDI Temporarily Closed

If you shop at ALDI at 6221 N. Broadway, you will have to visit one of their other area stores because the Edgewater location will be shut down for over a month for remodeling according to the company.

The store officially closed on August 5 and is expected to reopen on September 12. Back in May of 2017, ALDI corporate announced that it would invest $180 million into remodeling 130 of its 150 Chicago-area stores by 2020 to meet modern demands.

The new store will receive a brand-new look that will include a brighter, more contemporary interior. It will also get an “easy-to-shop” store layout and an expanded fresh section for both natural and organic produce.

The company is asking its customers to visit their Uptown location at 4500 N. Broadway or the location at 6220 N. California.
