Alderman Harry Osterman has announced four town hall meetings to address concerns residents have in the 48th Ward. The first meeting will be 6:30 p.m. tonight at Senn High School, 5900 N. Glenwood.

The meetings, which the alderman hosts annually, will allow him to give a “State of the Ward” presentation which will go over achievements, issues and initiatives currently affecting the neighborhood. Afterwards, there will be significant time for attendees to ask questions and voice concerns they may have.

In the past topics such as taxes, gun violence and small business initiatives have been discussed at length.

• Thursday, Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m. – Senn High School, 5900 N. Glenwood
• Tuesday, Oct. 17, 6:30 p.m. – Somerset Place Apartments, 5009 N. Sheridan
• Thursday, Oct. 19, 6:30 p.m. – Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark
• Wednesday, Oct. 25, 6:30 p.m. – Emanuel Congregation, 5959 N. Sheridan
