Man Robs Andersonville Bank Yesterday With Coffee In Hand

A man wearing a black winter jacket, black scarf, black sunglasses, black pants and dark gloves walked into an Andersonville bank yesterday morning and presented a note to the teller demanding money. Oddly enough, surveillance footage shows the suspect ready to perpetrate the crime with a cup of coffee in his hand.

The incident occurred at a Chase Bank branch bank at 5134 N. Clark at 11:01 a.m. Thursday morning. The man is described as a white man in his mid-30s, 5’9” to 6’0′ tall, with a thin build and medium complexion.

Though it appears there was no weapon used in the incident, FBI warns that the man should be considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of this unknown suspect. Anyone with information regarding this bank robbery should contact the FBI’s Chicago Field Office at (312) 421-6700.

    That’s just insulting.
Maybe they’ll catch him when he returns this summer, as he enjoys an icy cocktail.

I wonder if he was smart enough to wear the mask while buying the coffee. A quick peek at Buckies’ footage will probably prove very helpful.
