The annual EdgeFest street fair is preparing for its sixth year. Bringing in 10,000 attendees last year, organizers hope to exceed that number this summer.

The two-day festival, which is put on by the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce, will feature 70 food vendors, beer and sangria, two stages of live entertainment, activities for children, a dunk tank and a pet parade.

The event will be held on Broadway Avenue between Thorndale and Ardmore from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5  and Sunday, Aug. 6. 

A suggested donation of $5 will gain you entrance to the fest as well as an Edge Card, which offers discounts to various local businesses.

According to a press release, proceeds go to the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and will be used to produce community events like the Farmers Market and the Edgewater 5k. 

The Pet Parade will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, from the south stage at Ardmore and Broadway. The entertainment lineup is as follows:
