Chicago Spirit Brigade Still Sassy

3682-11051If you have been to Midsommer Fest, Pridefest or  or any other fun filled festival in Chicago, chances are you have seen the Chicago Spirit Brigade perform. A vibrant part of our community, the CSB is a local dance group that partners with non-profit organizations, neighborhood associations, and others to raise money through cheer and give it all back to those in need. They believe life is to be celebrated whenever possible and that everyone has a duty to support one another and lend a helping hand to those who need it most. Their love and skills for performing is all done by cost free to raise funds for the direct care services of men, women and children living with life-threatening challenges. With a powerful mission and a sassy dance routine for any occasion, the Chicago Spirit Brigade is quite an asset and making an impact on local charities.

Watch a performance here!

They are an adult dance, drill and cheer team that uses high-energy and flirty performances to raise money for people faced with life threatening challenges. They give all the cash raised in their bluespirit buckets to other non-profits, and match that with a 25% match from our ‘Spread the Cheer fund’ making a donation of 125% to each organization they partner with! To date, they have given away more than $110,000 to local charities. They never turn down a donation and are constantly looking volunteers to help throughout the season. At this summer’s Midsommarfest, they will be raising funds on behalf of Apna Ghar.

CSB is always in need of donations, volunteers and more importantly, places to perform and organizations to work with! Contact President  Kimo Huddy at khuddy@voa.com.
