Artist PINK Rocks Out In Andersonville

pinkIt was just business as usual for Kopi Cafe server Casey Bartey  yesterday, that was until he had an unexpected surprise sit at one of the front window tables. Alicia Moore, better know as PINK, enjoyed a day out in Andersonville including a stop into the local Kopi Cafe.

Bartley explained “I watched her come in with her daughter willow and sit down at the table.  I wanted her experience to be like anyone else’s even though I knew who she was. She was so gracious and kind and you could tell she was an amazing mother.” PINK chatted up the server and another guest throughout the visit. At one point Bartley noticed a tattoo on her right wrist which read “What comes around goes around”. When he commented on how much he would like that same ink on his wrist but would never be a copy cat, PINK laughingly said, ” Do it- I do not own the words!”.

PINK’s visit comes on sold out “The Truth bout Love Tour” concerts in Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Fargo. She is a multiple grammy winning, multi platinum record producing selling more than 45 million records worldwide. The singer’s  unique pop rock style has made her one of the most successful artist’s of her generation.

PINK visited other local businesses such as Women and Children First. Bartley remembers talking briefly with her about the community in which she boldly stated in a style all her own, “This fucking neighborhood rocks!”.
