Free COVID-19 Testing In Edgewater Next Week
January 28, 2021 / By Edgeville BuzzThe 48th Ward’s Harry Osterman will be holding a free COVID testing site next week in partnership with Near North Health Service Corporation and Ismaili Jamatkhana.
Anyone who is aged 5 and up will have the opportunity to get tested at no charge to them regardless of insurance or immigration status. The event will take place in the Ismaili Jamatkhana parking lot at 6259 N. Broadway from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6.
The site will offer both drive-up and walk-up testing. Because supplies will be limited, registration before the event is strongly encouraged. You can sign up for a 15 minute window online.
Though no one will be turned away from available testing, they do ask you bring a valid ID and insurance card. Social distancing and face protection are mandatory at the event. The 48th Ward will be distributing free masks that day as well.
