That’s right! Santa will make a special appearance at the Northside North Pole (aka Bryn Mawr Ave.) this weekend and the neighborhood businesses are celebrating.

It is a chance for everyone to meet Mr. C himself. He is scheduled to be at the Bryn Mawr el station on Saturday, December 16 at 11 a.m. accompanied by the Lakeside Pride Carolers. From there, everyone is invited to walk with them to the Lytle House at 5517 N Broadway and get a free professional photo with Santa (courtesy of TK Photography) from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Remember to bring a new unwrapped toy to contribute to Care for Real‘s toy drive.

Area businesses will add to the fun by offering other free activities and giveaways during the event.  There will be gingerbread cookie decorating, ornament making and lots of Holiday treats to make it a special time. 

“The event came about after one of our new businesses, Lytle House, came to us and said they wanted to host Santa at their event space,” said Katrina Balog, Executive Director of the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce. “We had been wanting to do something on Bryn Mawr so we built the event around Santa!”
