Upcoming changes to Andersonville’s Farmer’s Market

I know what you are thinking. Why are we talking about an outdoor’s Farmer’s Market when we are still covered in snow and struggling through frigid digit weather?! Because if we don’t start thinking warm thoughts and keeping future sunny hot days on our minds, we will all freeze over!

So let’s talk about the Andersonville Farmer’s Market! This year the market will be starting a few weeks earlier than normal beginning on Wednesday May 21st. Lucky for us the schedule is expanding, running 22 consecutive weeks through October 15th. The market is open from 3 – 8pm through September 3, at which point they will shift schedules and close at 7pm. The annual market takes place on Berwyn between Clark and Ashland and the participating vendors are currently in the final stages of being selected by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce.

To help get us excited about the upcoming farmer’s market, the Homemade Pizza Company has a HomeMade Helps fundraising program that is raising money for our loving Andersonville Farmer’s Market with pizzas sold today only – March 5th! All money raised will be donated to LINK, which enables low-income individuals and families in our community to provide food on their table through the use of food stamps. Order online at homemadepizza.com, drop on in the Clark street location, or call them directly to place your order at 773.561.8800. Not hungry for pizza tonight? No worries! Order a gift card to use for another day!
