Three Days on Thorndale

The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and Ald. Harry Osterman have partnered to highlight developments and achievements near the Thorndale and Broadway intersection. Three Days on Thorndale is a celebration of positive activity in the neighborhood, and will take place May 29-31.
Highlights of events during these days include the Centennial Celebration for Swift Elementary School, and open house of Peterson Garden Project’s Fearless Food Kitchen in the Broadway Armory, and the unveiling of the bricolage mural under the Thorndale CTA tracks.

Thursday, May 29
5 – 7 p.m. – Edgewater Workbench Sneak Peak & 3D Printing Demo, 1130 W. Thorndale
6 – 8 p.m. – Broadway Armory Kitchen Open House, managed by Peterson Garden Project, 5917 N. Broadway
6 p.m. – Swift Elementary School Centennial Celebration, 5900 N. Winthrop
Friday, May 30
9 a.m. – MB Financial Bank New Location Opening, 5930 N. Broadway
4 – 6 p.m. – Jackalope Theatre Co. Broadway Armory Theatre Space Open House, 5917 N. Broadway
5 – 6 p.m. – Family Theatre Class with Li’l Buds Theatre Co., Broadway Armory Parking Lot
5 – 7 p.m. – Edgewater Workbench Sneak Peek & 3D Printing Demo, 1130 W. Thorndale
7 p.m. – PIVOT Arts presents “Music on the Lawn.” Bring a blanket and gather with neighbors for an outdoor concert. 5900 N. Glenwood
