Man Found Dead On Edgewater Beach Remains Unidentified

A man who was found washed up on an Edgewater beach and unresponsive over the weekend remains unidentified.
The man was found dead after police responded to an October 26 call around 8:45 a.m. on the 900 block of W Ardmore Ave. in Edgewater. He apparently drowned in the frigid Lake Michigan water and drifted to the Kathy Osterman Beach shore.
The Chicago Police Department believe it was an accidental drowning.
Authorities said the man was between 30 to 45-years old. No other information was given about the death and he remains unidentified.
Area North detectives are investigating the incident.
