Kitchen Sink Cafe Bought Out By Lincoln Square’s Baker Miller

The Lincoln Square bakery and mill house Baker Miller has made their way East into the Edgewater area. The long running neighborhood cafe Kitchen Sink at 1107 W Berwyn has officially been bought out by the company which has already occupied the space.

Kitchen Sink owner Jeff Fox was quietly in the market to sell the business when Baker Miller owners Dave and Megan Miller got wind of the news. According to a Facebook post on the Baker Miller Facebook page, Kitchen Sink was struggling and they took advantage of the quick opportunity to buy the space and turn it around.

They will slowly be incorporating their menu into the new Berwyn Ave location and eventually changing over the name to Baker Miller. The new management has already began selling their baked goods and coffee at the store while also updating the menu. Customers can expect many renovations to the property as well.

Back in April of last year, the Miller’s announced a partnership with Uptown’s Everybody’s Coffee at 935 W. Wilson where they introduced the Baker Miller menu into that cafe as well including brunch items, sandwiches, salads and pastries.

The purchase of the Berwyn Ave. location gives the company a prime Edgewater location that is located steps from the Berwyn redline station.
