Icosium Kafe Closes, Middle Eastern Bakery Said To Be Expanding

Icosium Kafe, located on the NorthWest corner of Foster and Clark recently locked its doors and posted a hand written note on the door. That paper explained that after 8 years of cooking up delicious crepes and making made-to-order salads, the chef has decided to hang up his apron. The news seemed to come very sudden for most of the loyal patrons who loved the fresh, healthy choice it offered to the area.

Now Andersonville residents are left to wonder what will happen to that very visible corner property that some feel is the gateway to a prosperous strip. The answer may come sooner than you think. Rumor has it that the Middle Eastern Bakery, a very popular bakery/grocer at 1512 Foster will be expanding into the space. It is said they will offer sandwiches and such in an environment much like Icosium Kafe. It is also said the expansion will happen quickly, not leaving the property vacant very long.
