2017 Movies In The Park Line-Up For Edgewater

Movies in the Park is back, and this this year they will be featuring everything from Golden Age of Hollywood classics to retro childhood favorites and the best family-friendly box office favorites from recent couple years.

The 2017 season will officially kick off in Edgewater at Berger Park Cultural Center, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd. on June 2 with Mel Brooks’ classic horror-comedy, Young Frankenstein. Three Edgewater parks will take part in the events. Berger Park and Kathy Osterman Beach will play Hollywood classic movies and Senn Playlot will show animated kid’s features.

The ongoing summer event will show over 100 films in more than 200 screenings throughout Chicago. Every screening is free to the public and starts at dusk (generally 8-8:30 p.m.).

Wednesday, June 21: The Umbrellas of Cherbourg – NR

Monday, July 24: Steel Magnolias – PG
Monday, September 4: Top Gun – PG

Senn Playlot Park 5887 N. Ridge Ave.
Saturday, July 1: Sing – PG
Saturday, August 5: Finding Dory – PG
