Dear Edgeville Buzz readers,

Last week we launched our first ever membership drive.  If you’re a subscriber to our weekly e-newsletter, you likely received the message from me last week – a call to neighbors to support the work we do at the Edgeville Buzz.  To those who have already become members, thank you.  By becoming a member, you will support our original, on-the-street reporting and get a few additional benefits, like a subscription to our recently improved and expanded weekly email update.

While we don’t plan to charge a subscription fee to read the EVB website and you can always continue to follow us on Facebook, the cost of producing our coverage is significant. Your membership goes to ensure we will be able to do more great work.

If you’re a regular reader you know that we love the neighborhood and do our best to bring you in-depth coverage of the good and the bad.  We’re there when a hot new business jumps into the scene (geez we followed Nookies for what, four years???), when a popular watering hole closes its doors, when unfortunate crime occurs and we’re out on the streets covering community events such as this week’s public safety seminar in case you can’t make it.  We also keep you abreast of whats going on in the neighborhood with our community calendar and bring you inside info by getting ‘behind the scenes’ of major events such as Midsommarfest and the Andersonville Farmer’s Market.

So please, become a member today and play a part in keeping our neighborhood great. You won’t regret it.
