This 8,464-square-foot parcel on Foster Ave. just east of Dominick’s has been available since the store opened in the summer of 2010. While awkwardly proportioned, it does offer high visibility and street frontage. Still, it’s incredibly narrow and stuck between the Saddle and Cycle club and the exit from Dominick’s parking garage. It was looking especially forlorn when I stopped by yesterday evening, waterlogged and with it’s advertising sign lying collapsed on the ground.

With a comparatively modest asking price of $1 million, what would you like to see here? A small drive through focused business? Something else entirely?

How about a day care or afterschool program? Parents could park, shop and then pick up the kids!

too bad dominicks didn’t buy it and use it for part of the store when they rebuilt.

I think dominics owns it. Can anyone verify that?

    Goodness gracious.

Safeway (Dominick’s parent company) do own the lot – as well as the one located to the north of the store (also available).

This would be a great spot for a miniature version of the Arlington racetrack with or without slot machines. They could have a small monorail connecting it to The Admiral and The Breakers.
