Giordano’s Confirms It Is Moving Into Andersonville

Giordano’s in Andersonville

Since coming out of bankruptcy which was filed in 2011, Giordano’s was bought at auction by Chicago-based Victory Park Capital. They have made their first additions to the Chicago chain by opening its first location in several years in the South Loop. They are planning on opening an additional 5 new locations in Chicago including the Andersonville neighborhood.

According to DNA, Robert R. Haney, the ceo of Newcastle who owns the building at 5207 North Clark announced that Giordano’s is in fact moving into that property. It is the same space that housed Ann Sather Restaurant which closed earlier this month.

Though some dislike the idea of a Chain pizzeria opening on Andersonville’s strip, others applaud their arrival. There has been no announcement of opening an date.
