Edgewater Art Fair Returns With 100 Artists And 25 Musical Acts

Celebrating its seventh year, the Edgewater Fall Art Fair brings creative energy to the area on September 28, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and September 29, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The fest will take place on Granville between Broadway and Sheridan (just off the red line Granville stop).

According to the event organizer Edgewater Artists In Motion, there will be a wide range of creative works to view and buy including paintings, photography, hand-made jewelry, glasswork, ceramics, mixed media and functional/wearable art.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy 25 musical acts on three different  stages. There diverse performances will cover many genres such as jazz, rock, country, and indie rock.

The event will also have a new make-and-take workshop area in Metropolis’ parking lot . Those who take part in the classes will be able to create their own works of art at the following times:

1:30 – 3:30 Mixed Media Story Jars

4:00 – 6:00 Cardboard Sculptures

All Day: Create Paper Lotus Flowers


1:00 -2:30 Miniature House Building for Halloween Creatures

2:00 – 4:00 Visiting Artists:  Taste of Calligraphy Demo, Caricature Demo, Poems for You

3:00 – 5:00 Surprise Projects Galore

All Day:  Paper Lotus Flowers
