That’s not really surprising since last year they never bothered to move the sand back towards the beach at the beginning of the summer season. It’s too bad because now it’ll probably stay like that for quite some time.

Agree with Michael. Two years ago after the beach was closed, the put up that plastic orange “snow fencing” which acted as a barrier to the sand. My guess is the fencing is cheaper then what it may cost to remediate this.
